Course Description

The vehicle banksman course (also called reversing assistant) is designed to tackle preventable crush injuries, as well as damage to buildings, structures, and vehicles. The course will protect your business by preventing injuries and fines caused by vehicle movements.

All operators are entered on the RTITB National Operators Registration Scheme and you have the option for operators certificates to be non-transferrable . This means that all certificates of training are fully backed by the RTITB and all operators receive the benefits of being placed on the National Operators Registration Scheme (NORS). The following courses can be booked directly via the online booking form below. Your post code address, where the training will be held, should be either NR, IP, CO, CB, or PE. If your Post Code is outside of these areas, please contact the office to discuss your requirements further.

The course is assessed at the end and candidates are required to complete a theory test and a practical test in order to successfully pass and obtain a certificate of completion. There is a maximum of 5 people allowed on the vehicle banks-man course, and they have a duration of 7,5 hours.5
